The Club has been offered the opportunity by The GoodGuys Rod & Custom Association to be the Host Club at their 30th Annual Lone Star Summit Racing Nationals to be held at the Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, September 29th through Sunday October 1st, 2023.
As the Host Club, we provide volunteers to assist with the event. As we have done in the past, we need volunteers to help park participants' Show cars in designated areas for judging on Saturday and the Winners' display on Sunday. In addition, we have volunteer opportunities on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday verifying participants' tickets (Stubbing) at the entrance to the South Tunnel at TMS. You are welcome to sign up friends and family members in addition to yourself. Multiple shifts are encouraged.
GoodGuys Rod & Custom Association makes a substantial donation to LSCC that helps fund Club activities. In addition to free admission and parking for ALL THREE DAYS of the event, volunteers receive the following:
- Friday, FREE entry. LSCC will have a designated parking area within the show.
- Saturday, FREE entry into the "Corvette Corral" (Your car must be 25 Years or Older (98 or older for 2023 shows)) LSCC will have a designated area within "Corvette Corral".
- Sunday, FREE entry to the "All American Sunday Get-Together". This allows all LSCC members' domestic vehicles to come into the show and be judged with no model year restriction. LSCC will have a designated area within "All American Sunday".
- GoodGuys membership (Silver Membership $25) is needed for Host Club Car Show parking. (This is for the entries to be put into GoodGuys computer systems.)
- We must turn in registration for the Host Club Car Showing 3 weeks before the GoodGuys show, deadline to sign up for this is August 1st, 2023
